Summary

Zhou Yu Ting is devastated upon learning that Yu Jiao has been redeemed by someone else. He desperately seeks information about her captor from the Qing Xiu Maiden, who reveals that a mysterious man paid a large sum for Yu Jiao's freedom. Despite her reassurances, Zhou is consumed by worry for Yu Jiao's safety. The Qing Xiu Maiden offers to help him find her address for a price, which Zhou agrees to. Later, Chu Li, who has also aided in Yu Jiao's redemption, pressures Zhou into a favor in exchange for the loan he provided.
