Summary

As night descended, Zhang Xuan and his companions camped in the Deep Forest, aware of the lurking dangers from ferocious beasts. While keeping watch, Zhang Xuan reflected on his feelings for the young Xin Yu, who had fallen asleep beside him. Their peace was shattered when a wounded messenger arrived, warning them of an ambush by the Turks. Zhang Xuan and his group quickly set off to help, racing against time to reach the besieged Han leader. Upon finding the scene of battle, Zhang Xuan and Xin Yu devised a plan to assassinate the Turkic leader, Shi Shuhu, to create chaos and aid the black-clad men. After successfully shooting Shi Shuhu, they fled on horseback, pursued by Turkic cavalry, as the black-clad men seized the opportunity to escape.
