Chapter 71: Abandoning the Sword and Tilling the Land. [71]
Summary
On Bright Moon Peak, Ye Qing learns from the Grand Elder that he is too late to be accepted into the Heavenly Sword Sect and should leave the Yan Nation. Despite his father's influence, he faces disdain from Lin Xue for relying on it. After healing his horse, Ryoma, Ye Qing meets Ao Jiu Tian, who offers to teach him farming instead of accepting him as a disciple. Ao Jiu Tian hints that someone, specifically Yan Huang, is obstructing Ye Qing's path. As Ye Qing begins to work the land, he contemplates the connection between man and earth, realizing his potential with the Wood Spirit Body. Meanwhile, the Sect Master and elders express frustration over losing a promising talent due to royal interference, questioning if Ye Qing can truly follow in his father's footsteps.Full content
