Summary

In a tense situation, Xiong Wan Yi nearly fell into a collapsing ground but was saved by nearby police officers. Realizing the sunlight was causing the collapse, Xi Men Lian instructed them to cover the hole, which stopped the ground from caving in further. However, when an officer stepped outside, he was suddenly attacked, suffering from mysterious needle-like wounds that caused black blood and pus to ooze from his body. As panic ensued, the group found several officers unconscious with similar injuries. They learned they had uncovered a Path of the Afterlife, a rare phenomenon with dangerous implications. Huang Ran explained that if one of the routes got blocked, it could lead to dire consequences. Sun Pang Zi urged Xi Men Lian to contact their superior urgently as they contemplated the threat posed by the new path's emergence, realizing that if not addressed within a hundred days, it could lead to catastrophic results.
