Summary

Chen He, deemed weak and incompetent, is reluctantly partnered with the narrator for a perilous task due to Xiang Long's injury. Lao Song, their guide, prepares them for a dangerous near-death experience to force their souls out of their bodies using Jie Yin talismans, which require blood for effectiveness. After receiving instructions, they learn they have only 30 seconds to escape after using a critical talisman against the malevolent Zhou Yu Hui. Tension rises as Lao Song reveals that they must drown to create the near-death state necessary for their souls to exit. Despite their fears, they comply, but panic ensues when Chen He begins to struggle, raising concerns about his survival.
