Summary

At the peak of Qingfeng Mountain, a handsome young man, an outer sect disciple, sits by a serene pond. He is approached by a middle-aged man who expresses frustration over Bai Xiao Chun's arrogance. The young man dismisses the matter and punishes the middle-aged man for his disrespect. Meanwhile, Bai Xiao Chun returns to Xiang Yun Mountain, feeling melancholic about his status but finds joy in sitting with the Foundation Establishment Elders during lectures, which frustrates the other disciples. He encounters Li Qing Hou, who advises him to focus on training, and Bai Xiao Chun reflects on his respect for him. After some time, he seeks out the Headmaster, Zheng Yuan Dong, to pay respects to his deceased master and expresses his desire for treasures like flying artifacts. Zheng Yuan Dong, moved by Bai Xiao Chun's sincerity, gifts him a powerful flying sword and a protective shield, which Bai Xiao Chun gratefully accepts.
