Summary

In Chapter 70, the constable reveals the gruesome remains of Lord Mu Lei to a group of foreign dignitaries, who are horrified to learn of his brutal death. They express outrage and demand accountability from Governor Guo, fearing for their own safety. A priest, Father Ma Er, is called to assess the situation but concludes that the death does not appear to be the work of a vampire but rather a sacrificial offering. Lady Gabriel, a high-ranking church member, arrives and inspects the remains, indicating that powerful demonic forces are at play. She slices open a cocoon, releasing a foul stench, and warns that two hell-level demon lords are intervening in the world, urging the church to send more clergy to address the impending disaster.
