Summary

Ding Yi and a woman share a bowl of noodles, revealing her hunger and his hesitation to give her water. He ultimately offers her half of his last bottle, leading to a conversation about their living situations. As they prepare to leave, Ding Yi realizes the woman is locked out of her home. He reluctantly allows her to stay in his chaotic room while he goes out to confront zombies. After dealing with several undead, Ding Yi is shocked by the gruesome scene outside. Despite his fear and disgust, he continues his mission, determined to find his family while keeping the woman safe.
