Summary

Gao Tian, the Sect Master, demonstrates his power by disciplining members of the Ming Shen Zong, leading to the demise of their ancestor. After a malfunction with a peering device, Liang Qi expresses gratitude for Gao Tian's cooperation and offers him a letter of exoneration. Gao Tian seeks a disciple and encounters Lei Ming, a unique boy with a heavenly spirit root but a damaged spiritual sea. Gao Tian promises to heal him, and Lei Ming agrees to become his disciple. They recruit Lei Ming's guardians, Uncle Xing and Aunt Xing, as cooks for the sect. Gao Tian successfully heals Lei Ming's injury, activating his special strength, as dark clouds gather above them.
