Summary

In this tale, Tang Seng, a devout monk from the Great Tang, embarks on a journey to the Western Heaven to seek sacred scriptures. An encounter with an old woman, who turns out to be the Guanyin Bodhisattva, leads to a comedic twist as she inadvertently traps herself with a golden headband meant for Sun Wukong. As Tang Seng continues his journey, he plans to recruit the Little White Dragon as a disciple. Sun Wukong, filled with rage against the gods who once oppressed him, prepares to confront them, displaying his immense power. The gods, dismissive at first, quickly realize the threat he poses as he challenges them, showcasing his formidable strength and fierce determination to settle old scores.
