Summary

In the boys' dormitory of Hoggard Castle, Ha Li celebrates his birthday amidst mixed emotions due to recent family troubles. His friends Ron and Hermione give him heartfelt gifts, including a Quidditch biography and a feather quill. Unexpectedly, his Godfather, disguised as a student, reveals himself and gifts Ha Li a Firebolt broom, urging him to uncover the truth about his past. However, Hermione expresses concern over the broom's safety, insisting on an inspection by Professor McGonagall. Meanwhile, Chen, a character with ulterior motives, stealthily steals the Firebolt arrow from the professor's office, leaving Ha Li anxious about its fate.
