Summary

After regaining consciousness, the protagonist finds themselves in a desolate room with a corpse covered by a white cloth. Uncle Li, the steward, offers assistance, and they prepare a coffin for the deceased. As night falls, strange occurrences begin, including an unsettling darkness and a heavy aura around the coffin. The protagonist lights candles and uses a soul-guiding lamp, sensing a powerful baby spirit. The atmosphere grows tense as the coffin shakes, indicating that the deceased's spirit may not rest peacefully.
