Summary

Li Yan Qing traveled from Shangdang County to Tang Yin County, witnessing the devastation caused by the Jin Bing along the way. Upon reaching Lu Shan Town, he found it in ruins and met his childhood friend, Zhang Zhang Gu, who had lost everything. Li Yan Qing offered him silver to help his family escape to Jiang Xia. He encouraged the townsfolk to flee south for safety. Continuing to Li Wen Village, he found his old home destroyed and his mother’s grave missing, but learned from Yue Fei about the fate of their families. After retrieving his mother’s gravestone, Li Yan Qing journeyed to the capital, where he was warmly welcomed by citizens upon his return as the newly appointed Governor of Kaifeng. The community expressed their trust and hope in him, leading to an emotional moment for Li Yan Qing.
