Summary

In the Jade Capital Peak's Golden Hall, Miao Yi, a newly appointed deacon, stands amidst a gathering of envoys and palace masters. The imperial envoy, Yue Tian Bo, issues a decree to detain treasure-refining cultivators, causing surprise among the attendees. Miao Yi is later summoned by the envoy and the governor, Lan Hou, who cryptically instructs him to meet someone at a specified address. Confused by the secrecy, Miao Yi encounters Lin Pingping, who informs him that several temple masters are waiting to discuss something with him. Upon returning to the residence, he finds the temple masters visibly flustered, hinting at an unexpected development in their relationships.
