Summary

A Jiu felt joy when Shan Fei agreed to accompany her and asked if he knew Long Shu, a famous figure from Shendu. Shan Fei, aware of Long Shu's significance in Mahayana Buddhism, realized A Jiu was unaware of his legacy. A Jiu dismissed Long Shu's fame, claiming she was more renowned in Peshawar. As they conversed, A Jiu expressed concern for Shan Fei's safety in the unfamiliar land, revealing that monks sought her bracelet, which she believed belonged to her family. Shan Fei, intrigued by the bracelet's origins, learned it was brought back from Shendu by A Jiu's father. Despite A Jiu's insistence on keeping it, Shan Fei advised caution regarding her possessions. They continued their journey, with A Jiu promising to guide him to a resting place.
