Summary

Wang Fu, determined to prevent Crown Prince Zhao Huan from taking the throne, pleads with Emperor Zhao Ji not to abdicate amidst military crises. Meanwhile, Zhao Huan struggles with the burden of leadership and seeks advice from Li Gang, who reveals that the Jin Kingdom's target is Taiyuan, not the capital. Li Gang advises Zhao Huan to prepare defenses and suggests establishing a wartime military council to gain authority over military decisions, which Zhao Huan agrees is a necessary step.
