Summary

After a group photo, Wu Da Hai issues work badges to Gao Yang, Qing Ling, and Wu Jing Guan, making them official employees. Gao Yang seeks financial help due to his father's crisis but is denied. Tengu explains that non-Awakeners are treated as "beasts." As they discuss, a dangerous intruder crashes through a window, attacking Meng Yang. Bai Tu saves her but is injured, leading to a fierce confrontation. Qing Ling intervenes, but chaos ensues as Officer Huang Jing Guan loses his arm in the fight. The chapter ends with the black-clad man fatally wounding him, leaving the group in peril.
