Summary

After the gathering, Huo Ling Xiao wanted to approach Miao Yi but was hindered by Wu Meng Lan. Miao Yi met with Peng Yu and summoned Dong Guo Li and his disciple, Yang Qing Qing, to discuss their potential service under him. Miao Yi offered them a position but insisted they couldn't leave or refine treasures for others, which they found unacceptable. Tensions rose, leading Miao Yi to order their confinement. Meanwhile, Wu Meng Lan returned to annoy Huo Ling Xiao and spent time with Miao Yi, who was curious about her motives. Qin Wei Wei visited, and Miao Yi invited her to join a chess game, aiming to lighten the atmosphere amid the tensions.
