Chapter 683: Rent Waived. [690]

Summary

In Chapter 683, Elder Gu Qingyang anticipated that his disciple Du Shaofu would request significant benefits for himself, but Du Shaofu surprised him by making a modest request. He asked for the sect to take only one-fifth of the profits from his new venture, Tian Xia Ge, and for the rent of a larger shop to be waived. This decision would later prove to be pivotal as Tian Xia Ge's elixirs gained immense popularity. Du Shaofu and Gu Changyou planned to close the shop temporarily to renovate and stock up on resources. Despite financial constraints, Du Shaofu devised a strategy to acquire spiritual herbs and create a tiered customer system to enhance sales and reputation.
