Summary

In Kyoto, an old man mourns his son’s death, vowing revenge against the Chu family, believed to be responsible. The head of the Xi Men family learns that the Chu family has been wiped out, leaving only a few servants alive. Meanwhile, Lin Yi awakens from a coma to discover he topped the college entrance exam, while his friend Chu Rou performed well too. Lin Yi's mother, Lin Mu, is excited about his achievements and plans a school meeting for him. However, Old Master Chu warns Lin Yi about the potential retaliation from the Xi Men family due to the death of Xi Men Di. Lin Yi reassures him, confident in his abilities.
