Summary

In the Coral Temple, the Miao Zhu shares a haunting tale from twenty years ago about his ill-fated journey to the Coral Spiral with fishermen and his sister. After facing a storm and losing their way, they encountered a fire that led to tragedy, claiming the lives of his companions and sister. The Miao Zhu, the sole survivor, later became the Miao Zhu of the Coral Temple. He offers to guide Xu Yan and others back to the Coral Spiral under three conditions: a suitable vessel, recovering remains of the deceased, and solving navigation issues. A Ning doubts the Miao Zhu's motives, suspecting ulterior motives for his return. Xu Yan, however, is unfazed, confident in his strength to handle any deception.
