Summary

Bai Ze suffers a severe injury, losing his arm in a confrontation. Despite the pain and the grim prognosis of his injury, he remains determined and composed. Accompanied by Wu Xie and Pang Zi, he investigates the aftermath of the battle. They find a large, seemingly dead creature surrounded by blood. Bai Ze cautiously approaches, throwing stones to confirm its state. As he nears, the creature's body begins to change color and swell, leading Bai Ze to suspect an imminent explosion. He quickly retreats, but the creature explodes, covering him in its remains. Despite the gruesome scene, Bai Ze feels relief as the threat is eliminated.
