Summary

In the twelfth layer of the Xuanqiong Tower, Shi Mu, Ximen Xue, and Yan Luo regroup after a battle with phantom beasts. Ximen Xue explains her earlier encounter with the beasts while seeking a spatial passage. She requests to join Shi Mu and Yan Luo, who agree to travel together. As they search for the passage, they encounter other disciples from the Flame of Li, led by Wen Hua, who suggest a coordinated search strategy. Despite their efforts, they initially find nothing until they hear a shout about a discovered spatial passage. Upon reaching it, they realize it was previously hidden, likely by other sects. After a brief rest, they enter the thirteenth layer, which is desolate and filled with demonic energy, prompting caution as they suspect other sects may have already arrived and sealed the passage.
