Summary

Old Ma converses with Lu Chen in a dim courtyard before leaving for the Wash Horse Bridge. As he walks, he encounters two ghostly lights, which turn out to be A Tu, a black dog. Old Ma feels uneasy but relaxes upon recognizing A Tu and directs it to find Lu Chen. A Tu approaches the house and taps on the door, which opens for it. Inside, Lu Chen reflects on his past with the Demon Cult and shares a haunting story about a spirit cat that consumed its owner after being locked away. A Tu listens attentively, and Lu Chen reassures it before they enter the bedroom, where White Lotus lies in a frail state. Lu Chen sits by her side, ready to discuss important matters.
