Summary

Pei Zi Yun, sensing a change in the air, discovers a barrier while exploring a misty area filled with corpses, including a family and lower-ranking samurai. As he purifies the corpses, he encounters a village under attack by supernatural humanoid creatures. Fatty Toyuki, exhausted from fighting, witnesses Pei Zi Yun's arrival as he swiftly dispatches the zombies, earning the villagers' gratitude. The shrine maiden warns him of a powerful demon spirit leading the zombies, advising retreat. However, Pei Zi Yun, sensing an opportunity to restore his strength, chooses to confront the horde instead, believing the weakened rules of the world may allow him to succeed.
