Summary

Yang Ling is taken to Blue Mountain Prison by his mentor, Qing Yidao, under the impression they are there to kill prisoners. However, he soon learns they are actually there for martial arts competitions involving prisoners, who are fighting to reduce their sentences. Qing Yidao explains that the competitions can be brutal and life-threatening, but they are sanctioned by the state. Yang Ling is shocked to discover the true purpose of their visit and feels the weight of the situation as he prepares for his matches, realizing the intense environment he is about to enter.
