Summary

Lu Chen grapples with the concept of darkness and light, traditionally viewed as opposites. He experiences a profound shift when he encounters a darkness that seems to repel light, challenging his long-held beliefs. As he and his black dog, A Tu, confront a mysterious door, A Tu opens it, unleashing a tidal wave of darkness that overwhelms Lu Chen. He struggles against the encroaching darkness, feeling a metaphorical thread in his mind nearing its breaking point. In desperation, he ignites dark flames within himself, creating a barrier against the darkness. Just as he regains a sense of control, he notices a massive eye staring at him from the depths of the darkness, evoking a sense of familiarity and dread.
