Summary

Four travelers entered a mysterious tower, encountering ancient runes and eerie wails. They realized they were trapped in an illusion created by the tower. Wu Kong discovered a hidden passage leading to a hall with a giant crystal containing a dark power. As they prepared to act, they were ensnared by sentient chains. An ancient evil spirit within the crystal revealed its resentment and unwillingness to let go of its past. The travelers fought against the spirit and sought to uncover its history, ultimately realizing its deep-seated hatred stemmed from a failed attempt to protect its clan. Tripitaka aimed to guide the spirit towards peace and liberation from its vengeance.
