Summary

A group of 19, led by Tang Xiu, arrives at Kanas Airport, where they are greeted by Jie Wa Lie, who offers to drive them to Longquan Bay. During the journey, Jie reveals he is involved in gold mining, despite the area being known for tourism. Tang Xiu warns him about the dangers of excessive killing, hinting at his knowledge of feng shui. Upon reaching Longquan Village, they find Miao Wen Tang gravely injured and poisoned. Tang Xiu uses acupuncture to help expel some toxins but learns that Miao was attacked by a dangerous monk and his minions while seeking a deal involving rare resources. Miao warns them of the threats they face.
