Summary

The King of Life, Liang Chu, organized a large army while Chi Ling Er remained leisurely at the Dragon Palace of the East Sea. Xu Liao developed an extensive intelligence network using demon insects but faced limitations due to refining issues and lack of resources. He manipulated Liang Chu's army to attack rival factions while Chi Ling Er delayed his journey to the Dragon Taming Array. After several months, Chi Ling Er finally set off but was quickly defeated by Xu Liao's forces. Seeking help, he reached the Eguchi, where he met Hei Tian, a talented demon general trained by Xu Liao. Hei Tian showcased his power, defeating the enemy and capturing Chi Ling Er's camp. They retreated to the Dragon Taming Array for safety, where they began training their soldiers. Chi Ling Er grew suspicious of the enemy's knowledge of transformations, leading to a realization that the Jade Cauldron transformations might have originated from the Dragon Taming Array.
