Chapter 64: Drawing Ancestral Blood [259]
Summary
In the midst of a fierce battle, heavy rain turned the tide against the demons attacking the city. The soldiers, initially retreating, regained their strength as sword energy from the city walls decimated the demon forces. Marshal Xia Chang Kong witnessed a young figure, Li Hao, guiding the sword energy and defeating the demons, including the powerful ones from the Gluttonous Valley. After the battle, Li Hao left, allowing others to finish off the remaining demons. Meanwhile, Qingzhou City faced dire straits, surrounded by demon forces and suffering from continuous attacks. The Li family, once strong, now faced the threat of extinction as they retreated to their last stronghold. Despite their efforts, reinforcements failed to arrive, and the situation grew increasingly desperate. Li Xiao Ran and Li Mu Xiu, realizing the need for a drastic measure, decided to summon all bloodlines of the Li family using their ancestors' blood, hoping to rally their scattered forces for a final stand against the overwhelming demon tide.Full content
