Hunting Ghosts in the Mortal World.
Chapter 64: Burning Clothes, Sense of Ritual. [64]
Summary
Little Hao was nervous after witnessing a female ghost's act. Following his master's instructions, they returned to a haunting fishing spot. The master retrieved offerings prepared by Little Hao's parents, including fruits and a chicken leg, and instructed to burn paper money. They collected dry branches for fuel. As they lit the fire, the flames grew unexpectedly. The master praised a stage costume before burning it along with other items. After completing the task, they heard a singing voice, revealing a misty form on the water, resembling the ghost in the attire they burned. The ghost performed a melancholic song, seemingly thanking them for their offerings.Full content
