Summary

Lu Chen and Yi Xin encounter a mysterious clump of grass, where Yi Xin believes she saw something, but they find nothing. As they walk downstream to avoid dangers in the mountains, they come across a beautiful valley filled with colorful flowers. Lu Chen warns Yi Xin that these are "Bloodthirsty Flowers," which lure and trap prey with thorns and poison. They continue cautiously until they hear a mournful howl, reminiscent of the black fiend dogs. They discover a small, injured dog that appears to be in distress, prompting Yi Xin to express concern for its well-being.
