Summary

Mo Wu Ji, unaware of the implications of his actions, finds himself in conflict with several powerful factions despite his low cultivation level. Gai Ao, the Heavenly Emperor, suggests that Mo Wu Ji accompany his daughter, Fei Yan, in the Immortal Realm, hinting at a potential partnership. However, Mo Wu Ji declines, asserting his independence and loyalty to his existing Dao partner. This angers Gai Ao, who warns Mo Wu Ji of the dangers he faces, particularly from the Da Kun Fo Zong. Later, Guang Xing and Tai Sha from the Da Kun Fo Zong confront Mo Wu Ji, demanding the return of the Da Kun Fo Lantern, which they believe he possesses. Mo Wu Ji firmly denies any connection to the lantern and refuses to be intimidated, leading to a tense standoff. Despite their threats, he remains resolute in his stance, feeling unjustly accused. As he leaves, he contemplates the challenges ahead, particularly regarding Su Xi's safety against the backdrop of powerful enemies. Sa Jian, observing Mo Wu Ji's departure, plots to ally with the Da Kun Fo Zong and Lei Zong to take him down, believing Mo Wu Ji has acquired the lantern.
