Summary

In the story, Qin Yi faces a high-stakes alchemy competition against Gong Jin De while his ally Shi Yun is imprisoned and facing execution. The event takes place at the Da Liang military drill grounds, where crowds gather to witness the contest. Despite the pressure, Qin Yi remains confident, claiming he has a "one hundred percent" chance of winning, much to the crowd's disbelief. As the competition unfolds, he learns from Yan Mei Niang that Shi Yun is in grave danger, tied up and surrounded by powerful foes.
