Summary

Ye Quan and his group, captured by Teng Ge Er, are offered food and a proposal to join his forces. Despite suspicions of poisoning, they eat hungrily. Teng Ge Er admires Ye Quan’s skills and courage, inviting him to conquer the world together. Ye Quan hesitates, valuing independence over subordination. Teng Ge Er, displeased, gives them a night to reconsider, locking them in a room under surveillance. Ye Quan stages a fake argument to deceive Teng Ge Er, who grows more impressed by his resistance. The next morning, Ye Quan agrees to join but demands wealth and security for his men. Teng Ge Er promises riches and women, sealing their alliance. Meanwhile, Kang Lei grows anxious over the lack of contact, considering sending reinforcements.
