Summary

Zhang Bai Ren confronts the abbot of Falan Temple, showcasing his disdain as he beheads Buddhist disciples. Despite the abbot's calm demeanor, he struggles with rising anger. Zhang Bai Ren plants demon seeds into Fa Ming, a monk, intending to enhance his power. The abbot realizes the danger but is unable to stop it. Meanwhile, Zhang Xu Tuo defends against numerous attacks from the temple's disciples. A golden-bodied Arhat intervenes, but Zhang Xu Tuo remains unfazed. After a tense standoff, Zhang Bai Ren demands a treasure in exchange for the abbot's release. The abbot protests, but a junior monk, Jin Shen Luo Han, ultimately offers the Fragment of the Sun. Zhang Bai Ren accepts, and the two leave the temple, planning to reclaim the treasure later when they are stronger.
