Summary

Bai Xiao Chun, having just emerged from the magic prison, is surprised by the status and fear associated with guards from the prison in Giant Ghost City. He explores various shops looking to buy wronged souls but finds them in short supply, as the three great families are hoarding souls for the heir of the Nether Emperor. After confronting a shop clerk with his guard token, he learns that most souls have been bought up. Just as he is about to purchase the few remaining souls, two wealthy young men from the Chen and Cai Families enter and claim the souls for themselves, disregarding Bai Xiao Chun. Feeling humiliated, Bai Xiao Chun attempts to outbid them, but their wealth overwhelms him. In the midst of this, he receives a distressing message from Zhou Yi Xing, who is in danger and needs help.
