Summary

Pei Zi Yun realizes a deity's intervention has rendered him immobile, and after narrowly avoiding a fatal blow, he is struck by a poisoned arrow. He retreats to the city, understanding the gods won't allow him to seize Achilles' armor. Meanwhile, Princess Ka Shan De La awakens from a nightmare of Troy's destruction, feeling unheard in her prophecies. She learns of Prince Paris's injury and rushes to him, where doctors declare only the gods can cure his poison. Cassandra recalls an oracle that Oenone can save Paris, prompting a hurried journey to Mount Ida. King Priam reassures Ka Shan De La as she leaves. In the Greek camp, the fallen heroes Achilles and Great Ajax are mourned, their bodies prepared for burial. Thetis, Achilles's mother, hears the lamentations and prepares to visit her son, stirring the sea in her grief.
