Summary

The discovery of a wooden cabin by Kirigakure led Yi Wan and his grandson to pack their belongings as operatives from the Dark Night, sent by Sa Ba He, arrived to assist. They attempted to avoid war delays by descending under the cover of night. Upon discovering local casualties rigged with explosives, the Dark Night operatives skillfully disarmed them and staged the scene. A Cuo declined Sa Ba He’s invitation to the Dark Night headquarters, opting to search for Monroe in Shanghai instead. After successfully exchanging a check for $2 million, A Cuo met Shi Dan Li, a scavenger, who informed him that both the Dark Night and Kirigakure had previously sought Monroe's whereabouts. Despite A Cuo’s generous offer, Shi Dan Li could not provide any leads. The narrative concludes with Shi Dan Li contacting someone, revealing A Cuo's search had drawn attention.
