Tomb Robbing: Starting with the Bloodline of the Three-legged Golden Crow.

Chapter 63: Lighting the Candle. [63]

Summary

Luo Chen and his friends, Pang Zi and Xiao Hu, entered a tomb chamber, finding it littered with porcelain artifacts. Pang Zi complained about the general's poverty, but Luo Chen suggested there might be treasures inside the coffin. They followed the tomb raiding rules, lighting a candle in the southeast corner before opening the coffin. Inside, they found a well-preserved corpse holding a pair of jade objects, "E-Shen Chi-Wen Shuang-Yi Bi," symbolizing bravery. However, as Pang Zi tried to take the moths, the candle flame flickered, and a rooster's crowing caused it to extinguish, indicating the tomb owner's anger. Despite this, Pang Zi eventually took the moths, and Luo Chen noted that the item was merely for warding off evil. As Pang Zi celebrated, Xiao Hu's expression turned to shock, and a muffled sound echoed in the air, followed by a call for Pang Zi.
