Summary

White Lotus sits by the window, feeling lonely and desolate after Lu Chen takes away her dog, A Tu. Old Ma visits to check on her, revealing that Lu Chen is concerned for her well-being. Their conversation reveals White Lotus's injury and her lack of memory regarding how it happened. Old Ma reassures her about Lu Chen's character before leaving. Soon after, White Lotus encounters Tian Lan Zhen, a powerful figure who appears silently behind her. He intimidates her with his presence, and despite his calm demeanor, she feels immense fear. Tian Lan Zhen comments on a dangerous method of witchcraft, mocking her for valuing it, which heightens her sense of vulnerability and dread.
