Summary

The Tu family's old residence is located in a desolate Gobi desert, rarely visited even by family members. Tu Yue'e bravely walks through the cold winds towards the residence, using a Yin Yang pendant to become invisible and bypass the family's protective formation. She reaches the sacrificial altar, which holds a stone basin used for ancient sacrifices, and recalls the horrors of witnessing these events as a child. Entering a passageway beneath the altar, she discovers a secret chamber with a golden drop of sacred blood, guarded by her uncle Tu Aotian and the Tu family's Third Master. They discuss the origins of an ancient divine weapon, which the Third Master reveals is an ancient evil sword sealed for a thousand years.
