Summary

At dusk, after dinner, Li Yan Qing receives a visit from Han Shi Zhong, who presents evidence of Yang Lin's illegal activities, including selling military supplies to the Qiang people. Angered by the betrayal, Li Yan Qing contemplates how to deal with Yang Lin, realizing he must act strategically to protect his own interests and the morale of his troops. That night, a group of black-clad figures successfully infiltrates a shop and captures a person, while Yan Qing and his subordinates search for hidden wealth and find silver ingots in an ice cellar. The next morning, Li Yan Qing plans to move his office to the military camp due to an urgent order from the Privy Council. He asks Ma Shan to arrange a meeting with Yang Lin under the pretense of discussing a potential romance. At noon, Yang Lin arrives at the teahouse, eager to meet Du Fu Ren, but is shocked to find Li Yan Qing waiting for him. Before he can react, he is knocked unconscious.
