Summary

An Zheng, after a successful auction, finds himself with nearly 400 Spirit Stones, a significant amount for a medium-sized sect. While staying at the Ning Jia auction house, he engages in a conversation with Chen Zhong Xu, who reveals his mission to recruit talented individuals for a military expedition. An Zheng remains noncommittal, valuing his relationship with his disciple, Da Da Ye. Later, he senses danger and investigates a nearby inn, discovering a gruesome scene involving Zhuge Dangdang and masked assailants. The atmosphere shifts as An Zheng confronts Zhuge, who is engaged in a violent act, hinting at deeper mysteries surrounding him.
