Summary

Nangong Yue’er discovers her brother, Nangong Liu Yun, gravely injured with a fist-sized hole in his dantian. In a panic, she tries to administer a healing elixir but realizes the situation is dire. She rushes to find their father, Nangong Hao Yue, who also feels helpless. They summon the Alchemy Hall, but the prognosis is grim; there seems to be no remedy for Liu Yun's condition. Heartbroken, Yue’er shares the news with Ye Xiao Yun, who leaves to attend to other matters. Meanwhile, Ye Xiao Yun returns to the Qin Gang, disguising his identity and assuring his friend, Qin Jian Feng, that he was merely cultivating.
