Summary

Wen Ju, a law enforcement officer, abruptly changes his stance from ready to arrest to expressing gratitude towards a young soldier, Chen Jun, after receiving a significant phone call. The other officers are bewildered by this sudden shift, as they had anticipated an arrest. Wen Ju, now anxious, apologizes and shows concern for Chen Jun's safety, claiming they are like family. His behavior, however, is met with disdain from his subordinates, who see it as hypocritical and thick-skinned, given his earlier intentions to apprehend them. They are frustrated by his insincerity and the drastic change in attitude, questioning the authenticity of his newfound camaraderie.
