Summary

In the Tianya Club, a woman in a qipao expresses concern about the lady boss's ability to handle a formidable man, Ye Quan, who has a bounty on his life. Zi Xuan, harboring resentment towards Ye Quan due to her father's gambling debts and subsequent suicide, reluctantly agrees to accompany him after a meal. Ye Quan, feeling pity for her situation, allows her to stay at his apartment, where she plans to find a job. Unbeknownst to him, Zi Xuan has ulterior motives, having previously plotted against him. As Ye Quan reflects on the threats from the Tianya Club, he senses an intruder at 3 a.m., indicating danger is imminent.
