Summary
In the Great Shang capital, the emperor's unexpected decree to marry the Da Huang Zi, a disabled prince, shocks the city. Zhu Qing Ge, son of Xi Nan Wang, confronts his father about the marriage, expressing anger and disappointment. Despite Zhu's protests, the Xi Nan Wang insists on obeying the emperor's will. Later, Zhu meets Li Zi Ye, who offers him strong wine and suggests they discuss Zhu's troubles. Li Zi Ye reminds Zhu of the Confucian sect's influence, prompting Zhu to seek their help.
