Chapter 608: The Prophecy of the Divine Horse. [622]
Summary
In the early dawn, Thetis visits Hephaestus on Mount Olympus, where he presents her with exquisite armor for Achilles, crafted over three days. Despite the beauty of the armor, Thetis feels sorrow, knowing it will lead to her son's fate. Upon receiving the armor, she rushes to Achilles, who is mourning Patroclus. He dons the armor, ready to avenge his friend and confront Hector, disregarding the warnings of impending doom. As Achilles rallies the Greek forces, the divine horse Xanthos ominously predicts his fate, but Achilles remains resolute, determined to fight. The scene sets the stage for an inevitable clash between the Greeks and Trojans, led by Hector.Full content
